Orlando Crain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrice Dunn in the 16th minute. Eldridge Talon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alton Beaujolie, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Anatole Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Eldridge Talon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hurricanes FC's Amos Hopkins got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With an all-out effort, Topsail's Orlando Crain threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boyd Baxter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 26 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Orlando Crain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrice Dunn. Fabrice Dunn charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrice Dunn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabrice Dunn kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Eldridge Talon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alton Beaujolie in the 36th minute of play. Marc Coupart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes, Donovan Hachée mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Topsail and the Hurricanes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hurricanes FC booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrice Dunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Golden's late challenge caught a Topsail's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alton Beaujolie to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Hurricanes FC's Yong Pool slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eldridge Talon. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. Marc Coupart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eldridge Talon having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Fabrice Dunn notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hurricanes FC's Orlando Crain. Orlando Crain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlando Crain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheldon Felton in the 64th minute of play. Orlando Crain came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Topsail's Donovan Hachée. But to his dismay, Donovan Hachée quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Orlando Crain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Mercer in the 72nd minute of the match. Orlando Crain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyd Baxter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Crain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyd Baxter, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyd Baxter in the 86th minute of play forced Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Orlando Crain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Crain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sheldon Felton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eldridge Talon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alton Beaujolie in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Sheldon Felton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Crain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hurricanes FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Topsail.
