Paulino Domingues shot from long distance in the 19th minute, but Joaquin George was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Melchor Nayelys short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Joaquin George to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Rigoberto Fe fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Rigoberto Fe a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Fe. 26 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Paez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Gavino Fernado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Joaquin George got control of the ball when Melchor Nayely tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Melchor Nayely could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Joaquin George however easily saved by the left post. Reynaldo Savion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Piorno, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Reynaldo Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Fernado in the 44th minute of play. Genaro Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Joaquin George made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchor Nayely in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Piorno to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Diego Hernandez. In the 55th minute Mario Piorno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Savion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Fernado made a great header on Dep Colonia Avellaneda's corner, it was just that Bahía é Carnaval's Reynaldo Savion managed to reach the ball for a save. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Dep Colonia Avellaneda defense, Melchor Nayely kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin George. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin George should have stopped the shot. Joaquin George didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Orlo went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Diego Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
