Carter Cruciani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin George read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Ennio Basso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play PomeziaRamblers's Armin Trivelli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Primitivo Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. PomeziaRamblers's Flavio Paris got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domenico Bertolini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Piorno went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carter Cruciani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gavino Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Mario Piorno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domenico Bertolini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PomeziaRamblers's Carter Cruciani got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Joaquin George had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Paris. After 65 minutes, Federico Pala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PomeziaRamblers and the Dep Colonia Avellaneda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Federico Pala. In the 69th minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flavio Paris fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 75th minute, Flavio Paris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin George. The goal made the score 2-1. 82 minutes into the game, Carter Cruciani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Joaquin George was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Antonello Melone with Alex Tarquini as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Antonello Melone made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Serafino Stanislao. A collision led to Dep Colonia Avellaneda getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lorenzo Fe hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Carter Cruciani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carter Cruciani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
