Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fulvio Sanna made the kick off which started today's match. The Reds's Conny Aleberg got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Armin Biondi from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Johnny Paulin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Johnny Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Sanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Barck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, The Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Sanna came free, but Johnny Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, The Reds's Elliott Barck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthony Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 29th minute, Conny Aleberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Reds's Johnny Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Sanna in the 34th minute of play. If Christian Guerrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Aleberg in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthony Falcioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conny Aleberg made a kick off. Christian Guerrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Paulin having to interfere. In the 56th minute Fulvio Sanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Falcioni came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by The Reds's Conny Aleberg. But to his dismay, Conny Aleberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conny Aleberg in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Falcioni saved Sao Brasola from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in The Reds's zone, Christian Guerrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Paulin came out of the goal and Christian Guerrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Reds's Stig Lindgren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enrico De Tommasi in the 69 minute of the game. After 71 minutes of play, Sao Brasola's Fulvio Sanna made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnny Paulin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, The Reds's Conny Aleberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anthony Falcioni. Anthony Falcioni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Conny Aleberg put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Anthony Falcioni. Christian Guerrini struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Johnny Paulin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sao Brasola. Christian Guerrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Johnny Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Reds's Egil Kilstedt got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Armin Biondi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and The Reds's Johnny Paulin didn't even have to move. Cosimo Colecchia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Fulvio Sanna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Paulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Damiano Iacovella charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damiano Iacovella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damiano Iacovella hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Anthony Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Aleberg in the 96th minute of the match.
