The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tadeusz Olejasz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Mosley went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the game, Jakub Gregorczyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zgierskie Zlewy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manly FC the free kick. Jakub Gregorczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Edwardo Marsland made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Olejasz. Zgierskie Zlewy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tadeusz Olejasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chuck Claringbold in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Filip Birkenhagen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zgierskie Zlewy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manly FC the free kick. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Zgierskie Zlewy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Birkenhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeusz Olejasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chuck Claringbold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Edwardo Marsland made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Olejasz. Zgierskie Zlewy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 27 minutes of play Zgierskie Zlewy's Filip Birkenhagen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 28th minute, Filip Birkenhagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Mac Allister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mac Allister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bishop Delbridge hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Edwardo Marsland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tadeusz Olejasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 minutes of play, Manly FC's Mac Allister made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Olejasz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Tadeusz Olejasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Mosley, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Craig Johnston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Olejasz having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Tadeusz Olejasz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Zgierskie Zlewy got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Pyrzyce. Tadeusz Olejasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Mosley in the 60th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Edwardo Marsland came free, but Tadeusz Olejasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 80th minute of the match Jakub Gregorczyk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jakub Gregorczyk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Zgierskie Zlewy getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jakub Gregorczyk hit a great ball. Tadeusz Olejasz made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Mac Allister sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Zgierskie Zlewy's Tadeusz Olejasz got control of the ball when Mac Allister tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edwardo Marsland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Tadeusz Olejasz made a huge save. Chuck Claringbolds short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Tadeusz Olejasz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manly FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
