Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Simon Andberg 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. A collision led to Club Sportivo Italiano getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Higinio Procopio hit a great ball. Simon Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Simon Andberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 18 minutes into the game, Jonas Olofsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rafael Martino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportivo Italiano's zone, Jonas Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Martino came out of the goal and Jonas Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Lägdin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Rafael Martino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amadeo Oxel struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gert Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Italiano. Rafael Martino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Andberg in the 31st minute of the match. Club Sportivo Italiano's Rafael Martino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Italiano from getting a goal against them. Segundo Urtun's late challenge caught a Agunnaryd IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Urtun helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Club Sportivo Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Urtun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Andberg in the 40th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Rafael Martino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Apolo Azeari got a free kick in the 46th minute. Fredrik Sikström might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Martino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Sikström ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Oxel to make the kick off. Gert Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Amadeo Oxel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gert Nyman. Amadeo Oxel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Rafael Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Lägdin in the 89th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Jonas Olofsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Sportivo Italiano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Agunnaryd IK.
