Beppe Quercia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Turi in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Cesate booed when Tracto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Ernesto De Lucia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cesate's zone, Alonzo Maiorga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Quercia came out of the goal and Alonzo Maiorga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Maiorga's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Beppe Quercia - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Claudio Manzoni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Generoso Txomin. Claudio Manzoni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Beppe Quercia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Albano Maurin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tracto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesate the free kick. Beppe Quercia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Chepe in the 41st minute of play. Ernesto De Lucia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Beppe Quercia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Achille Caccia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Turi in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beppe Quercia saved Cesate from getting behind. The supporters of Tracto booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Grasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Chepe in the 66th minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Beppe Quercia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ennio Grasso kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Achille Caccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Txomin having to interfere. The supporters of Cesate booed when Tracto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Iaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Manzoni. Cristoforo Talamo was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 77th minute, Cristoforo Talamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Turi in the 81st minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Beppe Quercia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Grasso. Primitivo Chepes short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Beppe Quercia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ernesto De Lucia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Maurin came free, but Beppe Quercia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Tracto's Beppe Quercia threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Turi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Cesate defense, Edgardo Turi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Quercia. The Cesate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Quercia should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
