Harry Cool's Douglas Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Rio in the 15th minute of play. Humphrey Facey kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Ceferino Ladio sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Douglas Watts threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ceferino Ladio this time. Douglas Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Rio in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Harry Cool's Ed Bonnison got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Harry Cool's Douglas Watts got control of the ball when Severino Odon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Odon got free with Douglas Watts in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Severino Odon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arnie Kenack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harry Cool's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnie Kenack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Niva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, independiente's Mauricio Lauro got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Odon to strike the kick off in the second half. Douglas Watts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Rio in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Harry Cool's Arnie Kenack slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denis Niva. That made the score 2-2 after 58 minutes of play. Denis Niva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnie Kenack in the 61st minute of play. Arnie Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Dani Clack scored 2-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Niva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to independiente getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mauricio Lauro hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Severino Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Watts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
