Harry Cool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christijan Sijmonds was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Arnie Kenack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harry Cool's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnie Kenack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Zondervan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huib Smit's late challenge caught a Harry Cool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huib Smit helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Huib Smit. If Erwin Moes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnie Kenack to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Evenhuis charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Evenhuis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victor Zondervan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnie Kenack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Christijan Sijmonds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Watts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christijan Sijmonds in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Dani Clack was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harry Cool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Balverliefd the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnie Potter in the 85th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Victor Zondervan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Zondervan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Clack in the 92nd minute of the match. Lennart Schalkwijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
