The audience was convinced that Ignacy Marchlewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Izydor Birkenhagen was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakub Plachetka to make the kick off. Izydor Birkenhagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacy Marchlewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jerzy Trela was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The Szalone Konie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 95 minutes into the match, Szalone Konie's Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izydor Birkenhagen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Yara Poland got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Gongola. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Szalone Konie fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yara Poland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
