Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudio Eudoxio started the match with the kick off. The supporters of ATLETICO MENDOZA booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joost Rummens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Frisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaud De Schutter having to interfere. Claudio Eudoxios short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Reinaud De Schutter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reinaud De Schutter came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by ATLETICO MENDOZA's Claudio Eudoxio. But to his dismay, Claudio Eudoxio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Reinaud De Schutter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Yvan Imberechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gunter Van Linthaudt fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Paal-Tervant's protests and gave Gunter Van Linthaudt a yellow card for diving instead. ATLETICO MENDOZA made a substitution. Fausto Benino replaced Higinio Frisco. In the 38th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunter Van Linthaudt to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, KFC Paal-Tervant's Gunter Van Linthaudt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gunter Van Linthaudt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KFC Paal-Tervant protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gunter Van Linthaudt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 40th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunter Van Linthaudt to maneuver through the defense. Reinaud De Schutter made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Claudio Eudoxio sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luckas De Wortelaers to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ATLETICO MENDOZA booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yvan Imberechts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaud De Schutter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Martinez in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of ATLETICO MENDOZA booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roben Bauweleers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaud De Schutter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Reinaud De Schutter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Eudoxio in the 67th minute of play. KFC Paal-Tervant's Reinaud De Schutter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Benino in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Benino in the 73rd minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Reinaud De Schutter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When ATLETICO MENDOZA's Claudio Eudoxio in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Paal-Tervant's goalie prevented a goal. Reinaud De Schutter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Eudoxio in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Justino Estevez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinaud De Schutter. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justino Estevez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Luckas De Wortelaers could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Serafin Ralondo however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to ATLETICO MENDOZA getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nicolas Inocente hit a great ball. Fausto Benino scored 4-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaud De Schutter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaud De Schutter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Benino, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. ATLETICO MENDOZA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
