Ionel Moldovan struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Luca Bădescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GoalHunters. Irinel Amandiței hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the game, Ghostbusters CF's Sabin Fecioru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelian Ciorbea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 8th match minute, GoalHunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Ţugui to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Ghostbusters CF's Răzvan Hăulică nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelian Ciorbea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of GoalHunters booed when Ghostbusters CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezar Coposu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th play minute Narcis Deleanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luca Bădescu. 1-2. Stelian Ciorbea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Fecioru in the 21st minute of play. Romeo Nicoliță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GoalHunters were furious when George Ţugui was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Ghostbusters CF booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Ţugui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Oprișan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stelian Ciorbea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Narcis Deleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Bădescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Nicu Aluculesei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoalHunters and the Ghostbusters CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Nicu Aluculesei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Hăulică in the 31st minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Stelian Ciorbea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ghostbusters CF's goalkeeper Luca Bădescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Coposu in the 34th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Stelian Ciorbea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, GoalHunters's Nicu Aluculesei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After 39 played minutes GoalHunters got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Rădoi. GoalHunters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicu Aluculesei in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remus Alucusan to make the kick off. Luca Bădescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Alucusan in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Narcis Deleanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoalHunters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Sabin Fecioru kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Cezar Coposu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narcis Deleanu charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narcis Deleanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luca Bădescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Alucusan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Stelian Ciorbea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezar Coposu in the 63rd minute. Stelian Ciorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Coposu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Nicoliță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Luca Bădescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stelian Ciorbea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cezar Coposu went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Romeo Nicoliță made a precise shot to the right of Luca Bădescu. Ghostbusters CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Narcis Deleanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luca Bădescu having to make a save. Nicu Aluculesei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luca Bădescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Romeo Nicoliță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Luca Bădescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Albert Oroveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Alucusan scored 5-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luca Bădescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 92 played minutes GoalHunters got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Moldovan. Răzvan Hăulică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ghostbusters CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GoalHunters.
