The supporters of TILCARA F C booed when De Kasteelheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriaan Bulder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Ruy scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elroy Jongsma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute, TILCARA F C's Sixto Hats dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to TILCARA F C getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mario Restu hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Jonathan Dissels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Lonzo. TILCARA F C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Dissels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 15 minutes into the game, Jonathan Dissels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Conrado Lonzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The nice shot from Santiago Ruy in the 22ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Elroy Jongsma had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Santiago Ruy scored 4-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elroy Jongsma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elroy Jongsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Jerrold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elroy Jongsma made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Santiago Ruy sent off a good shot on target. Conrado Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Bosstraeten in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Pieter-Jan Staarman sped through TILCARA F C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Lonzo. Conrado Lonzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Bosstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 4-4 when Jonathan Dissels sped through TILCARA F C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Lonzo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donald Kaspers made a kick off. Carlo Bosstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Lonzo having to interfere. Pieter-Jan Staarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Lonzo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Kaspers in the 59th minute of play forced TILCARA F C's goalkeeper Conrado Lonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Pieter-Jan Staarman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Kasteelheren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter-Jan Staarman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Dissels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TILCARA F C's Conrado Lonzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save TILCARA F C from getting a goal against them. Conrado Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Kaspers in the 89th minute of play. If Donald Kaspers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over De Kasteelheren could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TILCARA F C throughout the match.
