Boyce Skinner came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Vérsárkány SE's István Kiss. But to his dismay, István Kiss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute Dudley Rowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedek László saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, István Kiss made a precise shot to the right of Boyce Skinner. Slower Lower FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Vérsárkány SE's Béla Markó got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 36 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Szabolcs Boross. In the 38th minute, Nimród Vadász left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vérsárkány SE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After 45 minutes, Doug Geiger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slower Lower FC and the Vérsárkány SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Slower Lower FC!

If Norbert Zornánszky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boyce Skinner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from István Kiss in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nimród Vadász in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyce Skinner saved Slower Lower FC from getting behind. Boyce Skinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from István Kiss in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Slower Lower FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nimród Vadász came free, but Boyce Skinner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Slower Lower FC's Tracey Rooney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedek László made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Boyce Skinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Kiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Norbert Zornánszky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. István Kiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Boyce Skinner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. István Kiss took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boyce Skinner. Boyce Skinner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers István Kiss in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyce Skinner saved Slower Lower FC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Imre Sárközi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyce Skinner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seth Yeats kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Vérsárkány SE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
