After a rather tough play, Murcia Promesas's Fernando Elguero got a free kick in the 6th minute. Hector Goizeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Berriotxoa Jareño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Marcelo Milio got a free kick in the 13th minute. Murcia Promesas's Checa Pena shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jose Confesor but with some difficulty. In the 17th match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Milio to maneuver through the defense. In the 20thth minute of the game Agapito Cabanela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Miami CF's Jose Confesor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Placido Egun hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Agapito Cabanela could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jose Confesor however easily saved by the left post. In the 22nd minute, Teodosio Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Checa Pena got free with Jose Confesor in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Checa Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Berriotxoa Jareño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Salvator in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aldo Fix hit a great ball. Inter Miami CF's Jose Confesor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Miami CF from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Checa Pena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jose Confesor. The goal made the score 1-0. Inter Miami CF's Jose Confesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Checa Pena in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Murcia Promesas's Lleir Martinez got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Salvator was the one to do the kick off. Desiderio Erosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Agapito Cabanela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murcia Promesas's supporters rose to their feet, but Agapito Cabanela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Confesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 minutes, Checa Pena made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Inter Miami CF's Jose Confesor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Confesor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andolin Mendez's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Checa Pena came free, but Jose Confesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Erosa to maneuver through the defense. Jose Confesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Checa Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Murcia Promesas fully deserved thier win.
