Arnoldo Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Askew having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orson Eglington got free with Jose Confesor in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ramiro Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when FC ARK CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Graves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Inter Miami CF's Everardo Salvator nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicky Askew made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the FC ARK CS defense, Everardo Salvator kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicky Askew. The FC ARK CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicky Askew should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Ollie Turnbull was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ARK CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Miami CF the free kick. In the 28th match minute, FC ARK CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ollie Turnbull to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Eufemio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Arnoldo Veronica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Salvator was the one to do the kick off. Teodosio Laurgain charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Laurgain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Teodosio Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Orson Eglington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Goizeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nicky Askew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Orson Eglington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Confesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter Miami CF's Arnoldo Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ted Blake kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Arnoldo Veronica might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicky Askew. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Veronica ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute, Trev Drury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inter Miami CF played a much better game than FC ARK CS and deserved their victory. The FC ARK CS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
