When Christian Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SaRaZa's protests and gave Christian Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes SaRaZa got a freekick which was hit by Christian Ramos. If Victor Dan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Berceanu scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Peio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, SaRaZa's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Mavrogheni came free, but Pedro Peio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, SaRaZa's Pedro Peio got control of the ball when Victor Dan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SaRaZa's Esteban Giraldo got a free kick in the 28th minute. With his leg Pedro Peio managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Club Vertigo's Dumitru Mavrogheni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute, Victor Dan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Peio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Dan in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Ramos to make the kick off. Victor Dan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Peio having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Club Vertigo's Dumitru Mavrogheni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Peio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Pedro Peio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Berceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
