After taking down the ball on Seraċini Għawdxin's corner Luca Callus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edwin van der Saar quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Roderick Cachia Zammit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwin van der Saar was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Patryk Kosel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dejan Cumbo made a huge save. Dejan Cumbo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute Miromir Gabis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dejan Cumbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miromir Gabis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dejan Cumbo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RKS Królewscy's Witomir Zagrodny got a free kick in the 94th minute. Josh Ellul struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Edwin van der Saar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seraċini Għawdxin. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
