Spectators: 7560 (Terracing: 5671, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Afriz Hian got a free kick in the 5th minute. Serafino Munaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Munaya in the 13th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Sajeev Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bibiano Laranga kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Damaso Caselles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rifqi Chian in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Rifqi Chian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Caselles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Deportivo Galicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bibiano Laranga to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Bibiano Laranga in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Albirex Niigata FC's Gerard Hoe. Albirex Niigata FC's Rifqi Chian got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afriz Hian took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Caselles. Damaso Caselles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rifqi Chian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Damaso Caselles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rifqi Chian in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Caselles saved Deportivo Galicia from getting behind.

Sajeev Lam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fonso Treceño in the 51st minute of the match. Damaso Caselles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rifqi Chian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Rifqi Chian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albirex Niigata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rifqi Chian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Afriz Hian could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Damaso Caselles however easily saved by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Steven Lum put in a rough tackle. In the 72nd match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Lum to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Albirex Niigata FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Wei Xuan Chandran hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Franko Viaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franko Viaña made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Albirex Niigata FC's Ali Ramachandran. Albirex Niigata FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
