Abelardo Ermengol might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Etxatxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abelardo Ermengol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th match minute, Villa Mitre City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Jakobe to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Alberto Orti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Santio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alberto Dominic sped through Villa Mitre City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Epifanio Etxatxu. In the 28th minute Alberto Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Dominic kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Hugo Medardo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Bastian. Marcelino Bastian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Marcelino Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Dominic made a kick off. The supporters of BAIRES booed when Villa Mitre City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Epifanio Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Mitre City's Epifanio Etxatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Ermengol in the 68th minute of play. If Eduardo Gizon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Hodei during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute Alberto Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Mitre City's zone, Cipriano Mergildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Etxatxu came out of the goal and Cipriano Mergildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes, Hugo Medardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Mitre City and the BAIRES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hugo Medardo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Alberto Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Epifanio Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Mitre City were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing BAIRES to leave the ground with a draw.
