Les diables noirs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Walkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Mieszko Gruchacz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to Les diables noirs getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Luka Studer hit a great ball. After 26th play minutes Adam Walkowski shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Martial Laude and just under the crossbar into goal. Les diables noirs's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Carrière was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Chrobak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Les diables noirs's Martial Laude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Walkowski in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Kania Gostyń were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Walkowski to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marcel Brunet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mieszko Gruchacz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martial Laude. Les diables noirs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute Mario Vauzelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Chrobak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Kania Gostyń's Martial Laude threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adam Walkowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the game, Adam Walkowski lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Martial Laude. 3-4 became the score in the 74th minute when Sam Bertholet elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
