Leftraro's Xavi Abaroa got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Barça Salvadoreño FC defense, Juan José González kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Gamero. The Barça Salvadoreño FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Gamero should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan José González in the 25th minute of play forced Barça Salvadoreño FC's goalkeeper Rafael Gamero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes C.F. Leftraro got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Del Real. In the 40th minute, Ambrosio Scheuermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan José González fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Gamero having to interfere. The Barça Salvadoreño FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.F. Leftraro were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilber Escalante to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, C.F. Leftraro's goal looked a bit too open when Wilber Escalante came free, but Juan Ignacio González reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.F. Leftraro's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Carballo came free, but Juan Ignacio González reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Scheuermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan José González struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Rafael Gamero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.F. Leftraro. Rafael Gamero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan José González showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 90 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.F. Leftraro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
