The supporters of KANONIERZY booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Semedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slawomir Bambas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Kajetan Czajka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Nuno Vasconcelos made a huge save. Nuno Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slawomir Bambas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Nuno Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Academia Monte Gordo's Damião Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olaf Dobilas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damião Passos made a kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Slawomir Bambas sped through Academia Monte Gordo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno Vasconcelos. Nuno Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Czajka in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when KANONIERZY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Walentowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Slawomir Bambas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nuno Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, António Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Czajka, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Nuno Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Czajka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Diego Furtado hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Gwidon Buczko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Vasconcelos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 81 minutes of play, KANONIERZY's Kajetan Czajka made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Vasconcelos was left in no man's land by his defense there! KANONIERZY's Waclaw Urban got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Waclaw Urban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Kajetan Czajka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gilbert Walentowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. KANONIERZY's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Walentowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that KANONIERZY were the better team. KANONIERZY's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
