Godo Gøl made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Vlad Zâncă sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Zarrella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Augustin Alecu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Fedor Adler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Panait Antohi got a free kick in the 11th minute. Piedro Marois took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horia Vâlceanu. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Mikel Jerzinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Eugenio Zarrella made a precise shot to the right of Horia Vâlceanu. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Horia Vâlceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Vicente came free, but Horia Vâlceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Horia Vâlceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Zarrella in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Eugenio Zarrella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Horia Vâlceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Eugenio Zarrella made a precise shot to the right of Horia Vâlceanu. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Horia Vâlceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Zarrella, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the game, Eugenio Zarrella landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. FC Lugano made a substitution. Ulric Donsante replaced Eugenio Zarrella. Panait Antohi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Stephen Vicente notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Horia Vâlceanu. Horia Vâlceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulric Donsante in the 43rd minute of play forced White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Horia Vâlceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulric Donsante came free, but Horia Vâlceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
The wind increased when Ulric Donsante made the kick off in the second half. Horia Vâlceanu made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mikel Jerzinger sent off a good shot on target. Horia Vâlceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulric Donsante in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulric Donsante came free, but Horia Vâlceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ulric Donsante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horia Vâlceanu was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Dietrich Buchelis short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Horia Vâlceanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ulric Donsante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Panait Antohi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Lugano's Piedro Marois got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikel Jerzinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulric Donsante did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Horia Vâlceanu 66 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- defense, Stephen Vicente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horia Vâlceanu. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horia Vâlceanu should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Mikel Jerzinger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Vâlceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Mikel Jerzinger struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Horia Vâlceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lugano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Vicente in the 88th minute of play forced White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Horia Vâlceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, FC Lugano's Ulric Donsante made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horia Vâlceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Cristian Niță put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Cristian Niță got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Piedro Marois shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horia Vâlceanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Lugano played a much better game than White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- and deserved their victory. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
