After a rather tough play, Squall FC's Jorginho Couto got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Braedan Wayland notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Squall FC's Dário Viana. Dário Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dário Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Limmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Braedan Wayland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elderslie Magpies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 12th minute Braedan Wayland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ed Skittrall got free with Dário Viana in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorginho Couto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goalkeeper Dário Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ed Skittrall. Braedan Wayland took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Viana. Dário Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Jorginho Couto made a precise shot to the right of Chris Hemsley. Elderslie Magpies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Jess Haslett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elderslie Magpies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jess Haslett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Squall FC's Dário Viana got control of the ball when Ed Skittrall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chiquinho das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Hemsley having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorginho Couto made a kick off. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Squall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Squall FC defense, Kenneth Limmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Viana. The Squall FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Viana should have stopped the shot. Squall FC's Dário Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Limmer in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ed Skittrall came free, but Dário Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Chris Hemsley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquinho das Neves. In the 64th minute, Leopoldo Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dário Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Skittrall in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Ed Skittrall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elderslie Magpies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The supporters of Squall FC booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hale Mckinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Squall FC's attentive Rui Godoi managed to snatch the ball when Jess Haslett made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Leopoldo Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Squall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Braedan Wayland came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Elderslie Magpies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braedan Wayland couldn't finish the play. Rui Godoi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Elderslie Magpies's Ed Skittrall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dário Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After 88 played minutes Squall FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Sanches. Kenneth Limmer scored 8-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Braedan Wayland took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Viana. Dário Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. When the referee ended the match the Elderslie Magpies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
