Kaan Erginsoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harley Grossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Silvio Lampart fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ämmer Sportfreaks's protests and gave Silvio Lampart a yellow card for diving instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Restaino came free, but Kaan Erginsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, istanbulls's Mustafa Ali Pala got a free kick in the 37th minute. istanbulls's Kaan Erginsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Dagenais in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match Silvio Lampart shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaan Erginsoy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute Roland Dagenais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaan Erginsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vahit Necip was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 51st minute, one of istanbulls:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for istanbulls. After a rather tough play, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Andreas Rochat got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute Necmi Kayaer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Moret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Lampart came free, but Kaan Erginsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaan Erginsoy made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Roland Dagenais sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Silvio Lampart in the 70th minute really tested Kaan Erginsoy's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Abdi Mutluhan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Ämmer Sportfreaks's Harley Grossi in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Lampart got free with Kaan Erginsoy in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaan Erginsoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horatio Graf, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, istanbulls's Kaan Erginsoy got control of the ball when Roland Dagenais tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Roland Dagenais dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Kaan Erginsoy came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ämmer Sportfreaks's Harley Grossi. But to his dismay, Harley Grossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, istanbulls's Kaan Erginsoy got control of the ball when Roland Dagenais tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harley Grossi in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaan Erginsoy saved istanbulls from getting behind. Roland Dagenais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaan Erginsoy having to interfere. Ämmer Sportfreaks played a much better game than istanbulls and deserved their victory. The istanbulls players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
