Tito Valdivia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pacho Gonzalvez fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fesport FC's protests and gave Pacho Gonzalvez a yellow card for diving instead. Pacho Gonzalvez hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Fesport FC's goalkeeper Prospero Sarrate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Félix. Thanks to some nice moves Evandro Félix could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Prospero Sarrate however easily saved by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Ronaldo Mineiro put in a rough tackle. João Pedro Martins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Batuecas went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes Fesport FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Morientes. If Evandro Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fabiofs's Luís Fernando Ceresso in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Fesport FC defense, Benjamin Arruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Sarrate. The Fesport FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Sarrate should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute Fabiofs were awarded a corner. Benjamin Arruda went to the cornerflag to take it. Fabiofs's Benjamin Arruda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Prospero Sarrate in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 73 minutes into the game, Fabiofs's Luís Fernando Ceresso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prospero Sarrate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Neiva in the 77th minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Prospero Sarrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th match minute, Fesport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mergildo Landa to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Fesport FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Lago came free, but Prospero Sarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Luís Fernando Ceresso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fabiofs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Fesport FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
