When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Ekialde made a kick off. Anselmo Veríssimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tomás Ederono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes of play, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Anselmo Frasquito made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yuri Ventura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Anselmo Veríssimo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Tomás Ederono to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andarilhos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
