Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benoit Clinckspoor got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Marcelinho Bertassi got a free kick in the 4th minute. Roni Van Hoyveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Ribeiro in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Patrick Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cestarolli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roni Van Hoyveldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Patrick Galvão notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of YR Mechelen's Roni Van Hoyveldt. Roni Van Hoyveldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Benoit Clinckspoor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in YR Mechelen's zone, Hélder Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roni Van Hoyveldt came out of the goal and Hélder Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benoit Clinckspoor hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Raphael Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of YR Mechelen booed when Cestarolli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's Roel Van Den Eijnde broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The YR Mechelen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cestarolli FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphael Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of YR Mechelen booed when Cestarolli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Roni Van Hoyveldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cestarolli FC. After 59 minutes, Raphael Ribeiro made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. YR Mechelen's Roni Van Hoyveldt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Roni Van Hoyveldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Benoit Clinckspoor fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR Mechelen's protests and gave Benoit Clinckspoor a yellow card for diving instead. Benoit Clinckspoor kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With his leg Roni Van Hoyveldt managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Cestarolli FC's Raphael Ribeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Raphael Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cestarolli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 76 minutes, André Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cestarolli FC and the YR Mechelen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's André Bastos got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute, Raphael Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Ribeiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 88th playminute. Patrick Galvão might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roni Van Hoyveldt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Galvão ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cestarolli FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
