After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Platon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Jacinto Platon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cestarolli FC's Leonardo Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Jacinto Platon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Cardozo. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 89th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Galvão to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Vinhas. With his leg Leonardo Cardozo managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when CanarioMza's Leandro Arlo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leonardo Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Platon in the 99th minute of play. CanarioMza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
