Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basílio de Mendonça started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Richard Mota got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Alberto Palmeira came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC CERBEROS's Natalio Burutzagi. But to his dismay, Natalio Burutzagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Victoriano Muc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio de Mendonça went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gilmar Neto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 13th minute, when AFC CERBEROS's Natalio Burutzagi after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Alberto Palmeira in Bandelocos's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 15th minute Cornelio Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Baiano. In the 20th minute Válter Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Guerra came free, but Victoriano Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Varela in the 30th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Victoriano Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Palmeira having to interfere. In the 41st minute Tiaguinho Baiano suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bandelocos made a substitution. Tadeu Viana replaced Tiaguinho Baiano. Walmyr Domingues took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Muc. Victoriano Muc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
After 51 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Neto. 52 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's Lucio Maju sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Palmeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of AFC CERBEROS booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmyr Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute Albino Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match AFC CERBEROS got a corner. Bandelocos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natalio Burutzagi ran over to the corner to take the kick. AFC CERBEROS's Natalio Burutzagi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alberto Palmeira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Albino Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Lucio Maju got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bandelocos's Alberto Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Burutzagi in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match AFC CERBEROS got a corner. Bandelocos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natalio Burutzagi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Lucio Maju heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Lucio Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Muc having to interfere. Victoriano Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Dantas in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio de Mendonça in the 91st minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Victoriano Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Lucio Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Dantas. Lucio Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Palmeira having to interfere.
