Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) YR Mechelen's Leo Van Mechelen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, AFC CERBEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Maju to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Natalio Burutzagi managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC CERBEROS's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Burutzagi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roni Van Hoyveldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. YR Mechelen's Roni Van Hoyveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Maju in the 8th minute of play. AFC CERBEROS were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after YR Mechelen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Natalio Burutzagi took the corner. In the 10th match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Clinckspoor to maneuver through the defense. Roni Van Hoyveldt came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC CERBEROS's Lucio Maju. But to his dismay, Lucio Maju quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to YR Mechelen getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ricky Tilemans hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanny Van Wontergem during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roni Van Hoyveldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucio Maju went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Burutzagi came free, but Roni Van Hoyveldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to YR Mechelen getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Corneel Van Mechelen hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Natalio Burutzagi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roni Van Hoyveldt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roni Van Hoyveldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Burutzagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Burutzagi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, AFC CERBEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Beltxe to maneuver through the defense. AFC CERBEROS's Victoriano Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Van Mechelen in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, YR Mechelen's Leo Van Mechelen got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Arnauld Van Eynde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Victoriano Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lucio Maju fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC CERBEROS's protests and gave Lucio Maju a yellow card for diving instead. Benoit Clinckspoor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Victoriano Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Arnauld Van Eynde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Van Mechelen in the 87th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Victoriano Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Urko hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Alfredo Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Burutzagi had several of the YR Mechelen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Roni Van Hoyveldt as he didn't even see the shot coming. The AFC CERBEROS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
