The crowd rose to their feet as Nova Venécia-ES's Elói Baptista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pascoal Modesto. That made the score 0-6 after 70 minutes of play. In the 74th minute, Red Proud FC's Jorge Faria seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jorge Faria the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Red Proud FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorge Faria had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Red Proud FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nova Venécia-ES:s goal. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Nova Venécia-ES. Genílson Dantas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pascoal Modesto. 0-7. Pascoal Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Dantas in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Aparecido in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascoal Modesto saved Red Proud FC from getting behind. Pascoal Modesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Baptista in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Red Proud FC booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascoal Modesto came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Venécia-ES's Mário Aparecido. But to his dismay, Mário Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 97th minute Mário Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Modesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascoal Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Aparecido in the 100th minute of the match. When the match was over Nova Venécia-ES could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Red Proud FC throughout the match.
