Keanu Mimms made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Curtis Sykes's late challenge caught a Nova Venécia-ES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Curtis Sykes helped the player get up and apologised. Keanu Mimms was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Meninges FC's zone, Ezequiel Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keanu Mimms came out of the goal and Ezequiel Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Aparecido in the 20th minute of play forced Meninges FC's goalkeeper Keanu Mimms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Aparecido in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keanu Mimms saved Meninges FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Nova Venécia-ES were awarded a corner. André Luiz Mineiro went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Nova Venécia-ES's corner André Luiz Mineiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keanu Mimms quite easily take care of the ball. Trey Garnett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Cardoso having to interfere. Nova Venécia-ES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meninges FC the free kick. Kristopher Gilchrist kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Mário Aparecido put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Keanu Mimms. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ezequiel Saldanha put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Keanu Mimms. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Mário Aparecido sped through Meninges FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keanu Mimms. In the 47thth minute of the game Mário Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meninges FC's Keanu Mimms was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Keanu Mimms successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Keanu Mimms made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Saldanha in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Ismael Brito made a precise shot to the right of Keanu Mimms. Meninges FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. The supporters of Meninges FC booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Meninges FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Curtis Sykes hit a great ball. André Luiz Mineiro, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Keanu Mimms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Mário Aparecido took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Keanu Mimms to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Keanu Mimms managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Nova Venécia-ES's Mário Aparecido fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
