David Collier charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Collier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Collier kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Aparecido in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keanu Mimms saved Meninges FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mário Aparecido sped through Meninges FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keanu Mimms. In the 10th minute, Nova Venécia-ES's Mário Aparecido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 13 minutes into the game, Nova Venécia-ES's André Luiz Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keanu Mimms made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Ezequiel Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Nova Venécia-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Keanu Mimms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keanu Mimms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Mineiro in the 23rd minute of the match. Keanu Mimms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Aparecido in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Meninges FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Mineiro came free, but Keanu Mimms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keanu Mimms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Mário Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Venécia-ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keanu Mimms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Nova Venécia-ES's Ezequiel Saldanha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. In the 40th minute, Mário Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Venécia-ES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Curtis Sykes fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meninges FC's protests and gave Curtis Sykes a yellow card for diving instead. Curtis Sykes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Mário Aparecido recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keanu Mimms. Mário Aparecido showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wayne Hurst to strike the kick off in the second half. André Luiz Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keanu Mimms having to interfere. Trev Wittingham kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Keanu Mimms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Keanu Mimms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Aparecido in the 58th minute of play. Keanu Mimms didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mário Aparecido went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Mário Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Mário Aparecido notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Meninges FC's Keanu Mimms. Keanu Mimms was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ezequiel Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nova Venécia-ES's protests and gave Ezequiel Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Ezequiel Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes of play, Nova Venécia-ES's Mário Aparecido made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keanu Mimms was left in no man's land by his defense there! Meninges FC's Keanu Mimms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Aparecido in the 85th minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Mário Aparecido sped through Meninges FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keanu Mimms. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nova Venécia-ES had played much better football throughout.
