With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boyan Parlapanski in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Araújo saved Joinville United - FSCMZ from getting behind. After a rather tough play, PFK Beroe's Naycho Chureshki got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson da Mata in the 4th minute of play forced PFK Beroe's goalkeeper Kiril Kerkenezov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The PFK Beroe fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when PFK Beroe's Boyan Parlapanski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute Boyan Parlapanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PFK Beroe's Kiril Kerkenezov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Rodrigues in the 20th minute of play. If Breno Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, PFK Beroe's Boyan Parlapanski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Araújo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Kiril Kerkenezov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Meirelles in the 29th minute. The supporters of Joinville United - FSCMZ booed when PFK Beroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavlin Stanin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kiril Kerkenezov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Waldir Dias. Kiril Kerkenezov made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Hudson da Mata sent off a good shot on target. Hudson da Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Kiril Kerkenezov made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, PFK Beroe's goalkeeper Kiril Kerkenezov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hudson da Mata. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radoy Zarkov to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Naycho Chureshki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to PFK Beroe getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Radoy Zarkov hit a great ball. Hudson da Mata took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kiril Kerkenezov. Kiril Kerkenezov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 66 minutes into the game, Boyan Parlapanski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
