Filomeno Nicholas charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Nicholas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filomeno Nicholas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lisandro Remicio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Joaquin Vela hit a great ball. The supporters of Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Urtats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Mondragon made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ariel Gimenez sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Ovidio Luar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Nicholas to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Octavio Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ariel Gimenez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Mondragon was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Bilintx in the 55th minute of play forced Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's goalkeeper Teofilo Maraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Maraman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Pastor Osoitz got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Formentera's Filomeno Nicholas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Teofilo Maraman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo from getting a goal against them. After having played for 87 minutes, Silvio Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Udalaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Udalaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Teofilo Maraman was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Santo Illan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santo Illan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Formentera had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
