Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian Thorsberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Conny Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Wennerquist in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Holm in the 6th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Rickard Wallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, one of Golden Lions FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gustaf Wennerquist shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 15th minute, Pelle Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Sven-Edvin Dahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conny Ånger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Thorsberg during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Thorsberg to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Christian Thorsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Wallengren. Haymakers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Thorsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Christoffer Sjöberg's late challenge caught a Golden Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoffer Sjöberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Haymakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Haymakers FC's Rickard Wallengren got control of the ball when Christian Thorsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Haymakers FC booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarl Granström scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conny Ånger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Jarl Granström made a precise shot to the right of Conny Ånger. Golden Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.

After 55 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Roland Giliusson. Christoffer Sjöberg lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Golden Lions FC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Axelsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haymakers FC's Rickard Wallengren. 2-4. When Ted Dahlgren came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Haymakers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Dahlgren couldn't finish the play. Jarl Granström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Conny Ånger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Giliusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Thorsberg scored 3-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Wallengren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rickard Wallengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Thorsberg went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. Sebastian Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Joakim Tham fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Lions FC's protests and gave Joakim Tham a yellow card for diving instead. After 99 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Tham. When the match was over Haymakers FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Golden Lions FC throughout the match.
