In the 4th minute, Ladislao Colas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agah Özal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Berat Arslangiray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Todor charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Todor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC MIDWAY booed when Riquelme Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Todor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Luix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Numan Orgun in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Ali Numan Orgun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MIDWAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riquelme Fútbol Club the free kick. In the 16th match minute, FC MIDWAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Numan Orgun to maneuver through the defense. Agah Özal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Roman Luix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC MIDWAY's Agah Özal got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Riquelme Fútbol Club booed when FC MIDWAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enginsu Toprak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Riquelme Fútbol Club's Julian Jakobe tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Agah Özal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC MIDWAY and the Riquelme Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes FC MIDWAY got a freekick which was hit by Agah Özal. 37 minutes into the game, Maximino Jerano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Berat Arslangiray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ali Numan Orgun got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Marin made a kick off. Kadir Energin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Ladislao Colas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Berat Arslangiray to make any attempt to save it. If Ahmet Göktuğ Köklem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Riquelme Fútbol Club's Maximino Jerano got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Köklem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC MIDWAY's Oğuzalp Beytekin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Roman Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selahaddin İhya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agah Özal might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Luix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agah Özal ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 minutes of play, FC MIDWAY's Agah Özal made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Luix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Riquelme Fútbol Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
