Spectators: 7647 (Terracing: 5737, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) SPARROWS's Georgi Benishev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, SPARROWS's Yanislav Plachkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hami Makul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Yanislav Plachkov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. A collision led to YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ahmet Hamdi Tuğrul hit a great ball. Alexey Torbov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hami Makul. YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of SPARROWS booed when YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selami Perviz didn't get a good kick on the ball. SPARROWS's Georgi Benishev got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ahmet Hamdi Tuğrul fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's protests and gave Ahmet Hamdi Tuğrul a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hamdi Tuğrul. Yanislav Plachkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hami Makul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match, Yanislav Plachkov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hami Makul was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ booed when SPARROWS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denislav Dushkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Georgi Benishev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hami Makul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yanislav Plachkov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Hami Makul skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 47th minute Vacib Rıdvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genko Dankin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vacib Rıdvan to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Georgi Benishev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Hami Makul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vasko Mirkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hami Makul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georgi Benishev in the 57th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes, SPARROWS's Svetlozar Florov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hami Makul came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SPARROWS reached it. In the 63rd minute Yanislav Plachkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hami Makul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georgi Benishev in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hami Makul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hami Makul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georgi Benishev's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 82 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Karastoyanov. Hami Makul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasko Mirkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Vasko Mirkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Sergey Karastoyanov got a free kick in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the game, SPARROWS's Georgi Benishev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hami Makul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
