Giorgos Kakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iván Leguizamón went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Giorgos Kakos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Maravilla's Iván Leguizamón shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Unione Sportiva fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! When Iván Leguizamón came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iván Leguizamón couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Iván Leguizamón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a little luck, Maravilla's Nicolas Kiliz got control of the ball when Akis Kaglantge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maravilla's Nicolas Kiliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Maravilla from getting a goal against them. After the first half Maravilla were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iván Leguizamón to strike the kick off in the second half. Poias Nikolakopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Unione Sportiva's zone, Iván Leguizamón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Kakos came out of the goal and Iván Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Kaglantge in the 70th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Augeias Pezos with Seleykos Sklavenitis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nicolas Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poias Nikolakopoulos in the 74th minute of play. Iván Leguizamón scored 0-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgos Kakos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Cesaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Giorgos Kakos made a huge save. The supporters of Unione Sportiva booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Poias Nikolakopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apsyrtos Papadelias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Kiliz having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Maravilla were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Unione Sportiva side.
