Alfred Samuelsson made a great header on Saint Glenn Gothenburg's corner, it was just that Motu's Eliseo Abeita managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 6th minute, Ubaldo Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Glenn Gothenburg from getting a goal against them. Aron Åkerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Tebaldo in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Saint Glenn Gothenburg getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jack Kruuse hit a great ball. Eliseo Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Kruuse in the 16th minute of play. Per-Åke Sjöberg scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Abeita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseo Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Berggren in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Motu's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Edström came free, but Eliseo Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Abeita came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Per-Åke Sjöberg. But to his dismay, Per-Åke Sjöberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström got control of the ball when Epifanio Vitin tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 33 minutes on the clock, Håkan Lövgren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Saint Glenn Gothenburg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Motu:s goal. Motu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Epifanio Vitin in the 35th minute. After taking down the ball on Motu's corner Elvio Maule fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aron Åkerström quite easily take care of the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Benedicto Tebaldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aron Åkerström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 39th minute, Benedicto Tebaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aron Åkerström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Benedicto Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Epifanio Vitin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aron Åkerström, 2-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Åke Sjöberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Saint Glenn Gothenburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Åberg to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, Pastor Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Motu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Glenn Gothenburg the free kick. After 56 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Navarro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Åke Sjöberg in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Abeita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Saint Glenn Gothenburg fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Per-Åke Sjöberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aron Åkerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th match minute, Saint Glenn Gothenburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th match minute, Motu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Jack Kruuse took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Abeita. Eliseo Abeita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 73rd minute Epifanio Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Åkerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Benedicto Tebaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Aron Åkerström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Tebaldo in the 77th minute of play forced Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Aron Åkerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Berggren struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Eliseo Abeita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Glenn Gothenburg. In the 80th minute Per-Åke Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Saint Glenn Gothenburg getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jonas Edström hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Ubaldo Ibar put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Aron Åkerström. After a rather tough play, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Jack Kruuse got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Epifanio Vitin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aron Åkerström. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
