Spectators: 7605 (Terracing: 5705, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iván Leguizamón took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Iván Leguizamón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Saint Glenn Gothenburg defense, Iván Leguizamón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Åkerström. The Saint Glenn Gothenburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Åkerström should have stopped the shot. Aron Åkerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Leguizamón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Åkerström came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Maravilla's Iván Leguizamón. But to his dismay, Iván Leguizamón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Julian Urritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Åke Sjöberg was the one to do the kick off. Aron Åkerström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iván Leguizamón in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Glenn Gothenburg's zone, Iván Leguizamón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Åkerström came out of the goal and Iván Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maravilla's Iván Leguizamón got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iván Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Aron Åkerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Saint Glenn Gothenburg booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Biaggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Julian Urritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Sjöberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Nicolas Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Ovidio Birila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maravilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Glenn Gothenburg the free kick. Iván Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Saint Glenn Gothenburg getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Håkan Lövgren hit a great ball. The supporters of Saint Glenn Gothenburg booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Maravilla fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Maravilla's Iván Leguizamón looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maravilla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
