Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Cura del Futbol's Carlos Bartolome started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Las Momias F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Soter didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Millano in the 6th minute of play forced Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper Melquiades Tancredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes, Fernando Soter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Momias F. C. and the Cura del Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Fernando Soter got a free kick in the 7th minute. Angelo Aimar's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Aimar helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Las Momias F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Aimar. Melquiades Tancredo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Cura del Futbol's Carlos Bartolome. But to his dismay, Carlos Bartolome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Carolo Chus fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cura del Futbol's protests and gave Carolo Chus a yellow card for diving instead. Melquiades Tancredo came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Cura del Futbol's Marcial Stephen. But to his dismay, Marcial Stephen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Faustino Cordaryal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Las Momias F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Soter. In the 27th minute Faustino Cordaryal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Laureano Montrell got a free kick in the 28th minute. Melquiades Tancredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Cordaryal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Bartolome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Cordaryal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Las Momias F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Soter to maneuver through the defense. Cura del Futbol's Faustino Cordaryal took a good shot, in the 39th minute, which hit the crossbar above Melquiades Tancredo's head, and flew over the goal. Las Momias F. C.'s manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Cura del Futbol. Jimeno Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

48 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s Angelo Aimar shot a high long ball. Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. The wind increased when Blas Lidon made the kick off in the second half. Faustino Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Baldomiro Gorri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Las Momias F. C.'s Melquiades Tancredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Bartolome in the 58th minute of play. Melquiades Tancredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Carlos Bartolome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Melquiades Tancredo made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Carlos Bartolome had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Tancredo. Las Momias F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Bartolome was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 93 minutes into the game, Las Momias F. C.'s Blas Lidon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Hernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cura del Futbol eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
