Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilbert Löfgren got the match started through his kick off. If Bernt Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Westerstrand got free with Harald Myr in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joar Beneth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Löfgren in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Ahlquist in the 13th minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Harald Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Överås BK got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Westerstrand. Joar Beneth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernt Westerstrand came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harald Myr could save by the left post. Harald Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Askberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Kronan's Robin Rudberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joar Beneth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Rikard Nordlander put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kronan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Rudberg in the 37th minute of play forced Överås BK's goalkeeper Joar Beneth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Anders Ahlquist took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harald Myr. Harald Myr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gilbert Löfgren hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gilbert Löfgren hit a great ball. Harald Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Ahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes in the game, Gilbert Löfgren dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Harald Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Ahlquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Joar Beneth was a little too slow when Gilbert Löfgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Löfgren came free, but Joar Beneth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Joar Beneth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kronan. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Säfström in the 73rd minute of play forced Överås BK's goalkeeper Joar Beneth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gilbert Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute, Kronan's Gilbert Löfgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kronan's Gilbert Löfgren in the 89th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Joar Beneth was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Överås BK through an amazing save. Gilbert Löfgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joar Beneth came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilbert Löfgren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 93rd minute. The Kronan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kronan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
