Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jairo Motta took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Streels in the 3rd minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Bernardinho Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Gijselinckx having to interfere. With a little luck, KV Schoonwater's Diederiek Gijselinckx got control of the ball when Christian Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Goiás Esporte Clube defense, Ivo Streels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardinho Jacinto. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardinho Jacinto should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Diederiek Gijselinckx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivo Streels took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardinho Jacinto. Bernardinho Jacinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bernardinho Jacinto came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Schoonwater's Ivo Streels. But to his dismay, Ivo Streels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Bernardinho Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Paelinck went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, KV Schoonwater's Perry Huygens got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KV Schoonwater's zone, Sandrinho Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diederiek Gijselinckx came out of the goal and Sandrinho Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half KV Schoonwater were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Maxime Caes made the kick off in the second half. Ivo Streels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bernardinho Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Motta came free, but Diederiek Gijselinckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diederiek Gijselinckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Motta in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Bernardinho Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxime Caes. In the 62nd minute, Allan Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Streels came free, but Bernardinho Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Allan Senna. Bernardinho Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Streels's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Bernardinho Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxime Caes. Bernardinho Jacinto was a little too slow when Maxime Caes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-7. Diederiek Gijselinckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Domingues in the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Jason Baert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KV Schoonwater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goiás Esporte Clube the free kick. Jason Baert kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of KV Schoonwater booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Ivo Streels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Bernardinho Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxime Caes. Maxime Caes kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Motta in the 93rd minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Diederiek Gijselinckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goiás Esporte Clube's Bernardinho Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Goiás Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Diederiek Gijselinckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Motta in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KV Schoonwater walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
