After 22 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Ilídio Onofre. VB-Team's Filipe Ventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Violento in the 25th minute of play. Filipe Ventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Capaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Schuster's Veronica Ciccone got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Schuster's goal looked a bit too open when Octávio Macieira came free, but Edmondo Stella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veronica Ciccone kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Osvaldo Vilaverde could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Edmondo Stella however easily saved by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Edoardo Polito put in a rough tackle. Christian Pollastrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in VB-Team's zone, Christian Pollastrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Ventura came out of the goal and Christian Pollastrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damiano Capaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Schuster getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Achille Violento hit a great ball. Edmondo Stella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Vilaverde in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, VB-Team's Octávio Macieira made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmondo Stella was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute Gonçalo Fonseca suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 60 minutes, Christian Pollastrini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schuster and the VB-Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Schuster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Pollastrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Nicolau Zambujal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
