Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Zachariasz Mondrowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmílson Catarinense in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute Edmílson Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Mondrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Moisés de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oranil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Cipinski in the 16th minute of play. Roman Sawicki's late challenge caught a Oranil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Sawicki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Griffins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Sawicki to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Domin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Velloso. Oranil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Przemyslaw Domin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some careless play in the Griffins defense, Sérgio das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Mondrowski. The Griffins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Mondrowski should have stopped the shot. Roman Sawicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Juan Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Kiko Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Sawicki scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Kryspin Cipinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Griffins's Roman Sawicki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juan Velloso. That made the score 2-3 after 66 minutes of play. Przemyslaw Domin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Velloso having to make a save. Kryspin Cipinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Velloso having to interfere. Roman Sawicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Carlos Fernando Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Roman Sawicki hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Hílton Cosme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachariasz Mondrowski skillfully saved the ball. Iwan Rakiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Carlos Fernando Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Mondrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Griffins had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
