The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hayyam Rasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Schiau, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Jdeica in the 4th minute of play forced The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Hayyam Rasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alin Holban made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Atıf Erendiz sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Filip Hološko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alin Holban. The goal made the score 1-0. Hayyam Rasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Tomoioagă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alin Holban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Köksal Yenal in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Purcaresti CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Cucerzan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Filip Hološko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Last Airbender's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Hološko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Hološko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ioan Cucerzan struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Hayyam Rasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purcaresti CSS. If Köksal Yenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burhan Başkaya hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Hayyam Rasi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Jdeica. In the 38th minute Doru Schiau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayyam Rasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Tomoioagă in the 39th minute of play forced The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Hayyam Rasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Jdeica struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Hayyam Rasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purcaresti CSS. 47 minutes into the match, The Last Airbender's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Schiau came free, but Hayyam Rasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Burhan Başkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alin Holban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ioan Cucerzan during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Purcaresti CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Cucerzan to maneuver through the defense. Alin Holban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Köksal Yenal in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of The Last Airbender booed when Purcaresti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Cucerzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Atıf Erendiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Filip Hološko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to The Last Airbender getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Köksal Yenal hit a great ball. Alin Holban came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by The Last Airbender's Filip Hološko. But to his dismay, Filip Hološko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Doru Schiau struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hayyam Rasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purcaresti CSS. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Octav Tomoioagă took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hayyam Rasi to make any attempt to save it. Ioan Cucerzan was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 94 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Cucerzan. In the 95th minute Köksal Yenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Holban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Filip Hološko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alin Holban was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Last Airbender's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
