Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Paulão Valladares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Club Atlético Unión's Jeronimo Domina in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Atlético Unión's Timoteo Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Valladares in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Nicolas Goiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salvador Futebol Clube and the Club Atlético Unión players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Nicolas Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Unión's Honorato Frechoso got a free kick in the 25th minute. The Club Atlético Unión fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Senin should have stopped the shot. Timoteo Senin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Luís Fernando Batista throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jeronimo Domina in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 37th minute, Jeronimo Domina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Unión fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Paulão Valladares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timoteo Senin. Club Atlético Unión's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulão Valladares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Club Atlético Unión players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salvador Futebol Clube were winning 1-2.

53 minutes into the match, Conrado Arruda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Timoteo Senin, 1-3. The supporters of Salvador Futebol Clube booed when Club Atlético Unión was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Wiliam de Sousa from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Timoteo Senin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nicolas Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Timoteo Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulão Valladares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Timoteo Senin came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulão Valladares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 79th minute. Jeronimo Domina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Valladares got free with Timoteo Senin in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salvador Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
